We enjoyed our stay, especially because the hotel was just a short walk to the East Kentucky Science Center and Planetarium, and the Samuel May House was only about 3 km away, making our weekend city strolls so much easier and more delightful.

The smell of stale smoke hit hard as soon as you exit the elevator on the 2nd floor and infiltrated our room. Windows featured a noticeable crack and seemed to be in desperate need of a wash. The lack of any vanity around the sink in the bathroom was annoying, as there's nowhere to put your toiletries. Breakfast was underwhelming, with cold decaf coffee and outdated food options, like powdered eggs with no gluten-free or dairy-free alternatives available.
